| Insert an Image Into a Content Item |

Important: Resize, crop, and make any other changes to
your image in your photo/graphics editing program before you begin to
insert the image into your website. Images should not be wider than 450 pixels. From the menu bar select: site > media manager
Open the stories folder (in directory box)by clicking on it.
You may put your images directly into the Stories folder or create a new folder within the stories folder for each category of images (one for Sunday School, another for Sunday services...)
Important: Insert all images into the Stories Folder or a folder within the stories folder for easier access. To create a new folder within the stories folder: In the create directory bar, at the top right of the page, type in the name of the folder (no spaces).
Click the create
Open the folder that you created and want the image to appear in, by clicking on it. In the file upload bar click the browse button (this will give you access to images saved on your computer). Choose an image from your picture files on your computer. The file path name will appear in the file upload bar.
Click the upload button. The image will appear as a thumbnail on your page.
Now you are ready to insert the image into your Content Item.
From the menu bar, choose Content, then either All Content Items or Static Content Items (wherever the content item is that you want to insert the image into).
Open the content item by clicking on it. Place your curser in the text box of the content item, in the location where you want your image to appear. Click on the image insert button (the little square icon with the mountain and sun in it) that is in the row of text editing tools above the text box. A dialogue box comes up. Scroll through all the images and select the one you would like to insert. From the appearance tab, choose image alignment (left,right, etc.). Click the Insert tab. Your picture will show up in your content item.
Click the Save Check your changes in the front end of your site.
