At times an administrator may want to create content that is restricted to their eyes only.  This is useful when creating new content experimentally - content that you want to see before revealing it to all your site visitors.

You may restrict access to both content items and menu items.  In both cases, go to the item you would like to restrict.

In a content item, click on the publishing tab.  Change the access level to Special.

In a menu item, the access level is found near the bottom of the details screen.

To view the restricted content or menu item, log in to the front end of your site using the frontend login box.

Note:  You may change the access level whenever desired.
