We have a new spam filter in place called DSPAM. This should prove to be a superior method of dealing with the increasingly annoying plague. Read on for about how you can help train DSPAM to be more effective. You may have noticed a line at the bottom of all incoming emails that starts with !DSPAM. This is a unique message identifier that only appears on your incoming mail. If you receive a spam, you should forward the email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . This will tell our spam filter that your email is spam and to watch out for future messages like it. In the past, suspect spam was bounced. This is no longer the case. Instead spam is delivered but the subject is prefixed with [SPAM]. You may want to create a filter (or rule) to put all messages with subjects starting with [spam] into a spam folder. If you receive a messaged marked [SPAM] that is not spam, you can tell our filter that it was wrong by forwarding the email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it Feel free to contact us should you have any questions. |
